About

My career as an advertising and marketing professional has significantly defined me to the world that’s known me for 45 years. I have loved my work, first as an ad manager for an upscale retailer, then as a luxury hotel company marketing director, then as an entrepreneur serving clients in upscale retail and hospitality industries. I am now a nontrepreneur. It was my decision and I believe it was the time for me to exit. But what is next? What will give me a sense of meaning and purpose? What will engage me, provide challenge and ultimately fulfillment? That’s my new job. I am excited, eager and terrified to explore an uncertain future. Of course, the future has been and always will be uncertain. But not being gainfully employed is a whole new level of uncertainty and risk. Time to re-embrace Colorado skiing T-shirt wisdom: “No guts. No glory. Go for it.” It should be great adventure.
